Children's Summer Speech Language Therapy Services
The purpose of Kindred Connections: Speech & Language Therapy, LLC is to promote speech and language development in a fun, motivating home environment.
Engaging activities, play, and music will promote attention and reciprocal interaction making speech therapy exciting, fun, and something your child will look forward to attending. By providing and practicing speech and language skills in a natural, home environment, I will be promoting the use of new skills from my home to yours and other settings.

What if my child has a speech IEP?
Kindred Connections can help continue your child's progress toward his or her goals before returning to school in the fall!
In order for Kindred Connections to obtain a copy of your child's IEP, as a parent you can hand deliver a copy or sign a consent to allow the school SLP to provide a copy of the IEP and collaborate with Kindred Connections regarding your child's speech and language needs.
Arrangements can be made to either mail or FAX the IEP to Kindred Connections at least two weeks prior to the first session. Fax number (507) 594-9528

What if my child was assessed, but did not qualify for services through the school?

The criteria to receive speech language services through the school district is different than the requirements through a private practice. Even though your child may not be eligible to receive services through their school district, in most cases he or she would be able to receive therapy by an SLP in private practice.

Following your initial contact, a phone interview to gather information and schedule a first visit will be completed. The first visit will give us an opportunity to meet one another, interact with your child, and further discuss his or her communication needs.
